Obituary for Marion M. Mauriello
BILLERICA - Marion M. (Murray) Mauriello, age 69, of Billerica, devoted wife to Anthony J. Mauriello, passed away from complications due to leukemia.
She was born in Cambridge, January 28, 1947, daughter of Richard D. and Anna (Lynch) Murray. She graduated from Saint Mary High school in Cambridge, MA in 1964. She was a resident of Billerica for 45 years and former resident of Cambridge.

Marion and Tony shared a love story lasting 50 years, and together had two daughters to whom Marion was a loving mother: Leslie of Belmont, and Lisa and her husband, Boey Bertold, of Bedford. One of her greatest joys in life was being “Nani” to her grandson, Phoenix Bertold.

Marion had a fulfilling career at Carleton-Willard Village for 17 years, where her zest for life and love for helping people was evident in her friendships with her colleagues and Carleton-Willard residents.

Marion was outgoing and loved to laugh, and enjoyed having lunches with her treasured friends. She was not just considered a sister-in-law, but also a dear friend to William E. Foley, Oscar “Nino” and Rosemarie Mauriello, Gino and Rose Mauriello, and Gerry and Evelyn Mauriello. She missed deeply everyday her pre-deceased sister and true best friend, Anne K. “Dede” Foley.

Marion loved her family above all else, and especially enjoyed cooking meals for her family and having family gatherings. She was generous and thoughtful by nature and was happiest when she was taking care of the ones she loved.

She was aunt and confidant to: Richard Foley, Steven and Kim Judge, Marion (Foley) and Eric Meaney, Michael Foley and his wife Kathleen, W. Gregory Foley and wife Amanda, Christopher Foley and wife Kellie, Jeffrey Foley, John Mauriello and wife Wendy, pre-deceased nephew Frank Mauriello, Laura Mauriello, Alyssa Mauriello and Tianna Mauriello. She was a great-aunt, lovingly referred to as “Auntie Mama” by many of her grand nieces and nephews: Morgan, Nicholas, Steven, Cole, Ava, Shay, Katharine, Liam, Finn, Anthony, Liliella, Lily-Anne, Maeve, Grace, Keaghan, and Conor.
