Obituary for William W. Morrissey
William W. Morrissey – Age 60, beloved husband of Cheryl L. (Adel) Morrissey died unexpectedly Sunday, while on a golf vacation in Myrtle Beach, SC.
He was born in Woburn, November 12, 1955, a son of the late Myrtle A. (Scott) (Morrissey) Margeson and lived in Billerica before moving to Litchfield, NH five years ago.
Mr. Morrissey was a partner in Avatek Corporation. He was an active member of the Billerica Knights of Columbus, having been involved in their Tootsie Roll Drive and spearheading many fundraising events. He was president of the Wednesday night golf league at the Billerica Country Club for over 25 years.
Besides his wife, Mr. Morrissey is survived by his son, David Morrissey and his partner Lauren Buchman of San Francisco, CA; his daughter, Lisa Desmond and her husband Stephen of Lowell; his uncle, Fred Scott of Billerica and his brothers, James Margeson III of Florida, Scott Margeson of Dracut and Kevin Margeson of Billerica. He was the brother of the late David Morrissey.

Morrissey, Visiting hours will be held Saturday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 2-5 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
