Obituary for Theresa L. Chronister
Theresa L. Chronister – Age 83, wife of the late Harry E. Chronister Sr. died Tuesday at the D’Youville Life and Wellness Community in Lowell.
She was born in Boston, January 19, 1936, a daughter of the late Joachim and Michelina (Morreo) Minichiello and lived in Everett for many years before moving to Billerica in 1972.
Theresa worked for many years for the Internal Revenue Service in Andover and later worked for the Town of Billerica in the Assessor’s Office for 22 years prior to her retirement in 2009. She was an active member of the Billerica Senior Center.
Theresa is survived by her daughter, Deborah Chronister and her partner Dave Kristal of Billerica; her sons, Harry Chronister Jr. and his wife Carolyn of Billerica and Mark Chronister of Billerica; her sisters, Louise Deluca of Bourne and Jacqueline Coogan of Melrose and is also survived by three grandchildren, Drew, Nicole and Carly Chronister and one great granddaughter, Tessa Chronister.
Funeral Saturday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Andrew Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Friday from 3-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made “In Memory of Theresa Chronister” to the Billerica Council on Aging, 25 Concord Rd., Billerica, MA 01821. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
