Marie H. Whyte – Age 67, beloved wife of John P. Whyte Jr. died Wednesday at the Lowell General Hospital – Saints Campus.
She was born in Boston, August 28, 1948, daughter of the late John F. and Rita P. (Connolly) Hamilton and lived in Boston before moving to Billerica 45 years ago.
When her children were younger, Mrs. Whyte was very active in the Billerica Friends of Music.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Whyte is survived by her daughters, Anne Walters of Tunnel Hill, GA and Elizabeth Lewis of Holland, PA and is also survived by six grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Major John P. Whyte III.
