Obituary for Marilyn J. Hughes
Marilyn J. (Price) Hughes, age 81, beloved wife of Richard J. Hughes died Saturday at the Willow Manor Nursing Home in Lowell after a lengthy illness. She was born in Medford, November 27, 1933 a daughter of the late Leroy and Mary (Cunningham) Price and lived in Medford before moving to Billerica in 1955. She enjoyed doing crafts and ceramics for many years. Mrs. Hughes enjoyed spending her summers with her family and grandson at their lake house in Moultonborough, NH on Lake Winnipesaukee. Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, John Hughes of Billerica and Richard Hughes II of Tyngsboro; one daughter Sandra Hughes-Cripps of Dracut and her companion Steven Lavoie of Merrimack, NH; one brother Robert Price of York, ME; one sister Elizabeth Hayes of Medford as well as her grandson Mitchell Cripps. She was the sister of the late Warren Price and Helen Ryan. HUGHES – Of Billerica, formerly of Medford, March 28, Marilyn J. (Price) Hughes. Funeral Tuesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Andrew’s Church, Talbot Ave., Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4 – 7 p.m. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assn., 480 Pleasant St. Watertown, MA 02472.
