Obituary for Barbara A. Callahan
Barbara A. (DeAmelio) Callahan, age 62, beloved wife of Michael J. Callahan died Thursday at Lowell General Hospital. She was born in Revere, July 3, 1952 a daughter of Louise R. (Sordillo) DeAmelio of Somerville and the late Roger W. DeAmelio and lived in Revere and Somerville before moving to Dracut in 1992. Mrs. Callahan worked in management for Verizon for 24 years retiring 18 years ago. Besides her husband and mother she is survived by, one step-daughter, Laura Callahan of Dracut; two brothers, Wayne DeAmelio of Somerville and Roger DeAmelio of FL; two sisters, Colleen Tortora of Saugus and Donna DeAmelio of Cambridge as well as two step-grandchildren, Kristopher Duangsay of Lowell and Derek Maringa of Dracut. CALLAHAN - Of Dracut, formerly of Revere and Somerville, Feb. 5. Barbara A. (DeAmelio) Callahan. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday at St. Theresa Church, 496 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
