Mario B. Pavlov – age 59, beloved husband of Daniela Pavlova died peacefully Saturday, August 31.
He was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, on September 11, 1964, the son of Parvoleta Pavlova of Bulgaria and the late Boyan A. Pavlov.
In 2001 Mario and family moved to the United Sates and has lived in Billerica for the past 15 years. Mario was an employed as an Engineer having worked for the Sheraton Hotel in Boston for the past 17 years.
Mario was a loyal fan of the CSKA Sofia soccer team and enjoyed all Boston sports. He was known throughout the Bulgarian community as a loyal friend and life of the party. He enjoyed listening to classic rock & chalga music, making his famous “Dedo sausage” and lukanka. But most of all, Mario enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandsons.
Besides his wife, Mario is survived by his son, Boyan Pavlov and his wife, Katie Pavlov of Billerica and his beloved grandsons, Milan and Luka Pavlov. Mario leaves behind a niece, nephews, and many beloved friends in Bulgaria.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 3 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Fundraiser by Nevelin Mirchev : Help Mario and His Family Through This Tough Time (gofundme.com).
