Marilyn A. Martell – age 85, wife of the late Walter B. Martell died Friday, August 30 at the Advinia Care in Wilmington.
She was born in Boston, September 26, 1938 a daughter of the late William J. and Alexandria (Tracy) Gallagher and was raised in Charlestown and moved to Billerica 58 years ago.
Marilyn was employed for the First National Bank of Boston for 26 years having retired in 1973 from the Investigative Department.
She is survived by brothers, Patrick Gallagher of Burlington, Francis Gallagher of Billerica, William Gallagher Jr. of Billerica and Joseph Gallagher of Fl. and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She is the sister of the late Robert Gallagher, John Gallaher, Paul McGrath, Alice McDonald and Joan Duncan.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 4 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 10:30-11:30 a.m. A graveside service will be held at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 12:00 Noon.
