Obituary for Floyd S. Orr
Floyd S. Orr – Age 88, husband of the late Anna Mae E. (Felber) Orr died Saturday, Feb. 24 at the Bridges by EPOCH in Nashua.
He was born in Queens, NY, October 5, 1929, a son of the late Floyd C. and Mary (Recker) Orr and lived in New York and Peabody before moving to Billerica in 1963.
Mr. Orr proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Orr worked as a Draftsman for AVCO in Wilmington before working at Raytheon in Sudbury for 20 years prior to his retirement. He was a communicant of St. Mary Church in Billerica, an avid bowler and a San Francisco Giants Fan.
He is survived by his sons, Bill Orr and his wife Debbie of Wesley Chapel, FL, Jim Orr of Nashua, NH and Timothy Orr of Manchester, NH; his daughters, Patti Hanlon and her husband John of Billerica and Kathleen Wood and her husband Greg of Hernando, FL. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
