Obituary for Michael D. McCaughey
BILLERICA – Michael D. McCaughey, age 31, died unexpectedly Monday at his home.
He was born in Melrose, January 26, 1986 a son of Patricia Lee of Billerica and Stephen McCaughey of Billerica and was a lifelong Billerica resident.
He was a graduate of Billerica Memorial High School, served 2 years in the Army, then worked as a mechanic for Hall Pump in Wilmington, until recently being employed in construction and enjoyed fishing in his spare time.
Besides his parent he is survived by one brother, Christopher McCaughey of Chelmsford; one sister, April McCaughey of Pepperrell; one niece, whom he adored so much, Aubrie McCaughey; his paternal grandparents, Charles and Dru McCaughey of Billerica as well as many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends He was the grandson of the late Dave and Mary Lee.

Funeral Friday from the SWEENEY MEMORIALFUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. followed by a graveside service at Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4 – 7 p.m.
