Robert W. Wilson Jr. – Age 91, husband of the late Lorraine G. (Aubrey) Wilson died Saturday, January 14 at the Academy Manor in Andover.
He was born in Cambridge, September 3, 1931, a son of the late Robert W. Wilson Sr. and Regina (Fitzpatrick) Wilson residing in Billerica most of his life. Robert proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
He was employed at Raytheon in Waltham for 35 years prior to his retirement. Bob and Lorraine enjoyed a long retirement. Bob was an avid Patriots fan who loved spending time with his family, going out to dinner and his scratch tickets. Bob was well known for his large garden and was always willing to share with family, friends and neighbors.
Robert is survived by his daughters, MaryAnn Rockett of Hanover and Alice Quinton and her husband Carlton of Fort Lawn, SC; his son, Robert Wilson III and his wife Lynn of Billerica; his brother, Paul Wilson of Nashua, NH and his three grandchildren. He was the brother of the late James Wilson, Theresa Siliker and Alice Cushman.
A chapel service with military honors will be held Tuesday, Jan 24, at St. Joseph Cemetery, 96 Riverneck Rd., E. Chelmsford at 1:30 p.m.
