Obituary for Angela N. Agostino
BILLERICA – Angela N. (Carella) Agostino, age 90, beloved wife of 65 years of Arthur F. Agostino Sr. died Tuesday at Lowell General Hospital with her family by her side.
She was born in Italy, December 25, 1926 a daughter of the late Rosario and Maria (Belcastro) Carella and lived in Arlington and Woburn before moving to Billerica 12 years ago.
Mrs. Agostino worked for many years in electronics and also at the Little Hands Big Hearts preschool in Woburn.
She was a communicant of St. Andrew’s Church in Billerica which was an important part of her life but most important to her was spending time with her family.
Besides her husband she is survived by her children, Elizabeth Newton and her husband Charles, Virginia Picardi and her husband Michael, Dianne Kenny and Arthur Agostino Jr. and his wife Laura all of Billerica; her siblings Michael Carella of Arlington and Elizabeth Galluzzo of Woburn; 11 grandchildren, Christine Crocker, Maria Bieri, Melissa Silva, Lisa Sullivan, Susan Parke, Cheryl Duffy, Thomas Kenny Jr., Michelle Wells, Carla Agostino Sarro, Artie Agostino III and Eddie Newton; 13 great-grandchildren, Angela, Richard, Jimmy, Kaitlyn, Daniel, Cami, Thomas, Drew, Tripp, Cadence, Nathan, Calvin and Zachary. She was the grandmother of the late Michael Picardi IV and sister of the late Rose Teofilo and Marie Tassone.
AGOSTINO – Of Billerica, formerly of Arlington and Woburn, Oct. 3, Angela N. Agostino. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday at St. Andrew’s Church, 45 Talbot Ave., N. Billerica at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. It being her wish there will be no visiting hours. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew’s Church, 45 Talbot Ave., N.
