Obituary for Joanne Bevis
Joanne J. Bevis – Age 66, died unexpectedly Friday, May 13, at her home.
She was born in Lowell, October 23, 1955 a daughter of the late Lawrence and Catherine (Stirling) Bevis and lived in Billerica for most of her life.
Joanne was a waitress at The Cove restaurant for many years and later worked the Shoe Dept. Encore at the Billerica Mall.
She was the mother of the late Katherine Bevis and the Stepmother of Brian Jones of Chelmsford and Daniel Jones and his wife Cindy of Methuen. Long time partner Len Garvin of Townsend. Her sister, Jennifer Lawrence and partner Walter Sennett of Chelmsford; her brothers, Lawrence Bevis Jr. and the late Ilene Bevis of Billerica. Jack Bevis and his wife Cori of Townsend. Her grandchildren, Tayla Bradfield and Skye Jones. Her nieces; Melissa Allan. Jessica Morrow and her husband Drew, Rebecca Dunigan and her Husband Paul Jr, Hollie Bevis. Her nephew Lawrence Bevis 3rd and his wife Michelle.
A graveside service will be held Thursday May 19, at the Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Bedford St., Burlington at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Joanne’s name to the MSPCA, www.mspca.org
