Obituary for Kyle V. Marzeoti
Kyle V. Marzeoti, age 35, beloved husband of Tara F. (Connell) Marzeoti died suddenly Friday, February 18 as the result of an accident while working to provide for his family.
He was born January 12, 1987, the son of Cyndi (Brace) Marzeoti-Sorensen and Arty Sorensen, and the late Robert F. Marzeoti. Kyle was loved by his in-laws of eighteen years Christopher “Peeps” Connell and Kimberly Connell. Kyle was raised in Billerica, and recently moved to his family home.
Team was the theme for Marzeoti. Kyle graduated in 2006 from Shawsheen Valley Technical High School from the Electrical Shop and was an outstanding Varsity Football, Hockey and Lacrosse player. With an accumulated 4540 rushing yards and three CAC championships in his four-year career on varsity, he was included in the 2006 Shriner’s All-Star Football Classic. Kyle was later inducted as a member of the school’s Hall of Fame. He graduated from Norwich University in Northfield Vermont in 2011 where he played Football, Lacrosse and Club Hockey. He was a productive member of the Norwich Cadets athletic department and his career culminated in an ECAC championship in 2009. Kyle was an amazing athlete, with tremendous accolades, but was driven by the success and accomplishments of those that shared the field. He embodied the tenacity, grit, and perseverance that was required of him.
A hard worker by nature, Kyle was always on a job. At the age of ten, he began to develop his work ethic under the tutelage of his grandfather and father. As a student in the electrical shop at Shawsheen, he competed in SkillsUSA and graduated at the top of his shop. Starting in 2005, Kyle began his career working for his lifelong mentor, Mike McDonough at McDonough Electric. From this start, his passion to build, develop, and create continued to grow.
Once he completed his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Norwich University in 2011, Kyle continued to work towards his dream of starting his own business. Kyle was the founder and owner of Blackout Corporation since 2017. In 2019, he earned his title as professional engineer. Kyle was taught to strive for perfection in all things and instilled that in those that he employed. He grew his company and took pride in the ability to employ and teach family and employees that grew into family.
Kyle was an amazing father to his twin girls, Charli and Toni, and son Ryker. The joy that emanated from their family home was felt by all those that crossed the threshold. Sunday was the day for the family, and he was sure to fill each week with individual attention and excitement. He took extreme joy in making sure that they were always first on his list. Kyle is now in the sky, looking down on his family.
Kyle was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his compassionate spirit. He was the first to lend a hand to those in need and ease the room with a quick joke, often at your expense. He spent his time with family and friends, working in the garage, and often eating cupcakes. He was the head chef for the family holidays, leaving many memories of full bellies at Christmas Eve seven fish dinners and Easter bread parties. Each person that knew him has a story of love, a story of laughs, and a story of greatness about the man lost.
Along with his wife Tara “Frank” and parents, Kyle will be missed by and survived by his children, Charli, Toni and Ryker Marzeoti. Kyle is survived by the Sorenzeoti family: oldest brother, Justin and his son Caiden; brother Derek, wife Kaitlin their daughter Shea and son Noah; sister Cara and her “boys” Scooby, Jerry, Peanut, and Sam I Am; sister Laura and her partner Sam; youngest brother Christopher; Jason, Melanie, and Steffan. Kyle is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Sharon Brace and paternal grandparents, Frank and Cathy Marzeoti, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
The family, from the bottom of our hearts, would like to encourage everyone: If coming to the services puts you or your family at risk, please stay home. If you have a vacation or a family day planned, please do not cancel those plans. We hope to see each and every one of you that loved him so dearly someday soon. We are comforted by the memories, so please send your stories. Lastly, love your loved ones, make the memories, and hug a little tighter.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, Feb. 26 at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Masks are required in church.
