Obituary for Patricia A. Daly
Patricia A. Daly, Age 80, beloved wife of Walter F. “Bob” Daly Jr. died unexpectedly Thursday, Dec. 30 at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington.
She was born in Boston, November 10, 1941, a daughter of the late Federico E. and Michelina M. (Repucci) DeSimone and was raised in Boston and lived in Newton before moving to Billerica 53 years ago.
Patricia was employed as an X-Ray Technologist for many years before becoming a Medical Secretary at Lahey Hospital before her retirement. She enjoyed attending the Billerica Council on Aging.
Besides her husband, Patricia is survived by her son Walther Daly III of Australia; her sister, Virginia Salo of Westerly, RI and her grandchildren, Matthew, Lucy, Kean and Finn. She was the mother of the late Margarette-Anne “Meg” Rambo.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4-7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church, 465 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Masks will be required at both locations.
