Obituary for John A. McIsaac
John A. McIsaac, age 81, beloved husband of Rita E. (Miller) McIsaac for over 58 years, died Saturday at the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center with his family at his side.
He was born in Cambridge, Sept. 2, 1940, a son of the late Charles McIsaac Sr. and Helen Lucile (Stratton) McIsaac and was raised in Cambridge and Somerville before moving to Billerica for many years and then Merrimack, NH.
Jack was employed as a Contract Administrator for the U.S. Government for over 30 years prior to his retirement. He later worked at the First Congregational Church in Billerica. He was a member of the Billerica Knights of Columbus.
Jack was the devoted father of, Kim Ferris and her husband Robert of Windham, NH; and Scott McIsaac and his wife Stephanie of Tyngsborough; Jack is also survived by his brothers, Peter McIsaac and his wife Janet of Chelsea and Charles McIsaac Jr. and his wife Marcia of Dracut; his sisters, Jean Bentubo of Medford, Mary Savini and her husband Tony of Medford, Barbara Lester and her husband Jon of New Durham, NH and the late Patricia and Vincent Armenio Sr. Jack was the cherished Grandfather of Katelyn and Jeremy Verrocchio, Kyle and Krista Witham, Abby, Jillian and Meghan McIsaac. Also, the loving Great Grandfather of Ella, Mason, Gavin, Ryleigh and Maverick. Jack is also survived by many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd. Billerica from 4-7 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday at the First Congregational Church, 18 Andover Rd., Billerica at 11 a.m. Face masks must be worn.
