Obituary for Katherine E. Guild
Billerica – Katherine E. Guild, Age 64, died unexpectedly Wednesday, August 18 at the Emerson Hospital in Concord.
She was born in Lowell, July 18, 1957, a daughter of the late Harold and Agnes (Hammes) Sheehan and lived in Billerica for most of her life.
Katherine was employed as a Manager for the Internal Revenue Service at the Andover and Lowell offices and currently worked for Entegris in Billerica.
She is survived by her daughters, Mandy Peterson, Alicia Fallon and Corrie Govertsen all of Billerica; her son, Kenneth Guild of Dracut; her brothers, William Sheehan of Dracut and Robert Sheehan of Billerica; her sisters, Gail Haughton of FL, Dorothy Murray of Chelmsford, Jean Nance of Woburn and Joan Desharnais of Weare, NH and is also survived by her nine grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Elizabeth Powers.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 17 at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Andrew Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Memorial contributions may be made in Katherine’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org
