Obituary for Alexander J. Casino
Alexander J. Casino – Age 76, beloved husband of Kathleen A. (Cody) Casino died peacefully at their home with his family at his side.

He was born in Revere, May 4, 1945, a son of the late John and Rose (Martocchio) Casino and was raised in Chelsea before moving to Revere and later moving to Billerica in 1983.

Al was employed as an Alarm Technician Specialist for over 30 years having retired from Tyco Alarms.

Besides his wife, Al is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Kirchner and her husband Robert of Billerica; his sons, Frank Casino of Boston, Keith Casino of Lowell and Jody Casino of Billerica; his beloved sister, Nancy Roselli and her husband Edward of Plymouth and his grandchildren, Stephanie, Ryan, Corey and Cooper. He was also the brother of the late John Casino of Chelsea.

Al thoroughly enjoyed his life. He enjoyed doing various jobs around his home, no project was too big or small. Gardening was his passion. He also just enjoyed sitting back and watching the wildlife that visited his backyard. For years, Al enjoyed big Sunday dinners and having his family around during the holidays. Al was passionate about cooking big meals and having his family join him.

He also loved spending time with his grandchildren. One of his favorite things was to give unique trinkets and toys where he would sit, laugh, and play with them. He was also the proud Papa in the stands of many basketball, hockey, soccer and baseball games, always making sure that he greeted his grandsons at the end of a game to tell them how well they played.

Visiting hours will be held Sunday the 16th of May from 1-4 p.m. Burial will take place at the Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. His funeral will be held Monday from the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church at 10 a.m. Per current CDC and State Guidelines face coverings will be required at all venues and attendees must sign up to attend the Funeral Mass at https://cli.re/ccb-funeral-signup Memorial contributions may be made in Al's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org
