Obituary for Carl P. Tammaro
BILLERICA – Carl P. Tammaro, age 56, died Saturday at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington after a period of declining health.
He was born in Lowell, January 25, 1965 a son of the late Giuseppe and Giuseppina (Tranfaglia) Tammaro and has been a lifelong Billerica resident.
Carl graduated from Billerica Memorial High School with the class of 1983 received his Associates Degree from Eastern Nazarene College and went on to receive his Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology.
Prior to his illness he worked as a Financial Reporting Specialist for several local banks including Melon Bank and also spent time employed as a Limousine driver.
He is survived by one sister, Marie Coleman and her husband Bruce of Groton; two brothers, Leo Tammaro of Billerica and Patrick Tammaro and his wife Lisa of Boxford; six nieces and nephews, Justin, Julie, Alisha, Joey, Jonathan and Rachel as well as many friends.
It being his request all services will be held privately and at the convenience of his family. in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the International Myeloma Foundation
