Obituary for Anna B. Mason
Anna B. Mason – Age 86, wife of the late John D. Mason died Friday at the Emerson Hospital in Concord with her family by her side.
She was born in Billerica, July 6, 1934, a daughter of the late Carmine A. DeBenedictis Sr. and Theresa (Robbio) DeBenedictis and was a resident of Billerica until moving to Harvard in 2004.
Anna was the owner of Annafections in Billerica making cakes and candies for many occasions.
Anna is survived by her daughters, Angela Mason Blinn and her husband Richard of Harvard and Jennifer A. Mason and her partner Kathryn Meade of Northampton; brothers, Daniel DeBenedictis of Billerica, Vincent DeBenedictis of Hampton, NH, Anthony DeBenedictis of Hudson, NH, Angelo DeBenedictis of Carlisle, Peter DeBenedictis of Ohio and the late Paul, Lawrence and Carmine DeBenedictis; her sisters, Agnes Spinney and Caroline Vitale of Billerica and Pauline deDiego of Pepperell and her grandchildren, Jonathan Blinn and his wife Erin, Rachel Dill and her husband Ryan and Riana Nazzaro and her husband Adam and is also survived by her eight great grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held Sunday at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 1-4 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 70 Concord Rd., Billerica at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at the Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. Memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of One’s Choice.
