Obituary for Melanie G. Boutwell
Melanie G. Boutwell, Age 68, wife of the late Richard W. Boutwell died Sunday at the Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME after a brief illness.
She was born in Lowell, March 7, 1952, a daughter of the late John and Evelyn (Pickering) Mahan and was raised in Billerica having moved to Wells, ME three years ago.
Melanie was employed as an Administrative Assistant in the Financial Aid Department of Middlesex Community College for over 20 years having retired in 2017. Besides her family, one of her greatest loves was watching the sunsets over the harbor with her dog Finn.
She is survived by her daughter, Haylie Gulino and her husband Mark of Merrimack, NH and her son, Jason Boutwell and his wife Amanda of Billerica; her grandchildren, Kinsey, Bennett, Matteo, Hannah and Timmy and her sister, Tracey Mahan of Worcester.
Melanie’s funeral arrangements will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the MSPCA, 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
