Obituary for Cheryl M. Zarella
Billerica – Cheryl M. Zarella – Age 62, died Tuesday at the Lowell General Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Woburn, July 3, 1954, a daughter of the late Joseph R. and Barbara M. (O’Grady) Zarella and lived in Billerica all of her life.
Miss. Zarella graduated from Keith Hall in Lowell in 1972 and later graduated from the Tewksbury Hospital School of Practical Nursing in 1978. She was employed as an LPN at the Lowell General Hospital – Saints Campus for 46 years.
She is survived by her sisters, Bonnie Posnak and her husband Daniel P. of Tyngsborough, and Barbara-Jo Zarella of Billerica; her brothers, Joseph Zarella and his wife Mary of Great Falls, VA and Steven Zarella of Denton, TX, her nephews, Daniel Posnak and Army 1st Lt. Joseph B. Zarella; her nieces, Victoria and Aubrey Zarella; her longtime best friend, Anne Travierso of Dracut and many godchildren.
ZARELLA – Of Billerica, Aug. 9, Cheryl M. Zarella, Funeral Monday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 2-5 p.m. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
