Yvette N. (Aubrey) Roche, age 86, died Saturday June 6, 2026 at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center with her immediate family and two special nieces by her side after a brief illness.
She was born in Lowell, June 26, 1939 a daughter of the late Armand R. and Parmelia (Johnson) Aubrey and lived in Lowell before moving to Billerica more than 60 years ago to raise her family.
Prior to her retirement Yvette was a cafeteria worker for the Billerica Public Schools and also worked at A&W and Wendy’s.
She was a member of the Sunshine Club, was a huge fan of Elvis and could be found at the Billerica Senior Housing clubhouse whenever there was a Bingo game.
Yvette is survived by one son, Gerald Roche Jr. and his husband Barry Cate-Roche of Brookline, NH; two daughters, Carol Couture of Lowell and Mary Sweeney and her husband John of Dartmouth, MA; one brother, Maurice Aubrey and his wife Betty of Dracut; one sister-in-law, Dolores Aubrey, eight grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Jacquelin, Brendan, Jarrod, Brian, Sara, Nathan and Kyle; seven great-grandchildren, Evelyn, Rowan, Willow, Liam, Callum and Nathan Jr. as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She was the mother of the late Cathleen Jenkins, mother-in-law of the late Michael Couture and sister of the late, Richard Aubrey, Rita LeBel, Pauline Bechard and Lorraine Wilson.
It being her request all services will be held privately and at the convenience of her family.
