William Kevin Johnston – Age 71, beloved husband of Denise L. Wedge Johnston died Friday, December 16 at their home with his family at his side.
He was born in Winchester, November 21, 1951, a son of the late William H. and Frances (Proctor) Johnston and stepson of Arlene (Langill) Johnston and lived in Burlington and Chelmsford before moving to Lowell in 2006.
Mr. Johnston was employed as a Machinist at W.K. Hillquist in Hudson, NH prior to his retirement and was a member of the Lowell Sportsman’s Club.
Besides his wife, Mr. Johnston is survived by his daughter, Ashley Campbell and her husband Corin of Pepperell; his stepson, Jason Brothers and his wife Katie of AZ; his brothers, Gary Johnston and his wife Kay of Wakefield, Raymond Johnston and his wife Lauren of Newburyport and Steven Johnston of Wakefield. He is also survived by his seven granddaughters.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 21 at the Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Bedford St., Burlington at 1 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org
