Obituary for William J. O'Donnell
William J. O’Donnell, age 80, beloved husband for 57 years to Catherine “Kay” A. (O’Gara) O’Donnell, died Thursday at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born in Mt. Airy, PA, May 12, 1934 a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Andrews) O’Donnell and has been a Billerica resident since 1960. Mr. O’Donnell was a Mechanical Engineer for Textron in Wilmington for 37 years retiring at the age of 63. Besides his wife, he is survived by five sons, William J. O’Donnell Jr. and his wife Karen of Tyngsboro, John O’Donnell and his wife Michele of Andover, Thomas O’Donnell and his wife Denise of Chelmsford, Andrew O’Donnell and his wife Amy of Windham, NH and David O’Donnell of Billerica. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Zachary, Elizabeth, Tamara, Trevor, Caroline, Molly, Ashley, Andrew, Henry, Collin, Nicholas, Noah. O’DONNELL – Of Billerica, Feb. 5, William J. O’Donnell. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon at St. Mary’s Church, 796 Boston Rd., Billerica followed by his Funeral Mass at 12:00 noon.
