
Obituary for William J. Durant
William J. Durant, age 92, beloved husband of the late Josephine A. (Monk) Durant died Saturday at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington.
He was born in Mexico, Maine January 17, 1928 a son of the late James and Lily (LaFleur) Durant and lived in Chelsea before moving to Billerica in 1960.
Mr. Durant served in the US Navy during WW II and was a truck driver for Teamsters Local #25 for many years.
He is survived by two sons, William D. Durant and his wife Anne of Bradford and Scott Durant and his wife Linda of Billerica; four grandchildren, William A., Jordan, Katie and Carrie as well as five great-grandchildren, Brennan, Maya, Alex, Liam and Kayleigh.
A private graveside service was held at St. Mary Cemetery, N. Tewksbury.
