Obituary for William D. Cooley
Of Billerica and formerly of Revere died peacefully on November 10, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Husband of the late Joanne M. (Sobolewski) Cooley, the love of his life, they shared 50 wonderful years of marriage. He is survived by his loving children, William S. Cooley and his wife Stephanie of Norfolk, MA, Brian Cooley of Reading, MA and Lori Mazzotta and her husband Christopher of Billerica, MA. More than anything, his greatest joys in life were his grandchildren Steven and Elizabeth Cooley and Ava and Sofia Mazzotta. William was a proud member of the Local 537 Pipefitters Union for 51 years. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed reading, and loved spending time with his family. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday at St. Mary’s Church, 796 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Lung Association, 1661 Worcester Rd., Framingham, MA 01701.
