Obituary for William C. Peacock
William C. Peacock, age 53, beloved husband of Mary E. (Major) Peacock died suddenly on Saturday, July 2, at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center.

He was born in Everett, June 24, 1969 the only son of Elaine K. (Videan) Peacock and the late Charles I. Peacock. Bill lived in Reading and North Andover before moving to Billerica 4 years ago.

Bill was a lifelong colonial reenactor who started marching with his dad and the Reading Minute & Militia when he was just seven years old. He was the Captain of the Old Redding Battery and frequently joined the Wilmington and North Reading Minutemen for re-enactments and parades.

Bill was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan who enjoyed debating whether the Red Sox stood a chance against the Yankees each year and if the Bills could win with uncles who lived out of state.

Besides his wife and mother he is survived by his son Michael Peacock of Stoneham, and Mary’s sons Joseph Stenquist of Billerica, Tyler Stenquist of Woburn, Keith Major and Austin Major both of Billerica who he lovingly welcomed as his sons when they married; only sister Diane Wilson and her husband David of Reading; his niece and nephew, Victoria and Jonathan Wilson both of Reading; his former wife and Michael’s mother Danielle Ciampa Peacock of Stoneham; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and coworkers.

A Celebration of his life will be held Monday, July 11 at the Billerica Lodge of Elks, 14 Webb Brook Rd., Billerica, MA from 3 - 7 p.m. A brief service will be held at 3. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
