William A. Fultz – Age 78, beloved husband of 60 years to Constance E. (Dill) Fultz died Tuesday, January 3 at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington surrounded by his family.
He was born in Billerica, August 21, 1944, a son of the late Everett and Eva (Stuart) Fultz and lived in Billerica until moving to Wilmington six years ago.
Bill was employed as a Supervisor for Mitre Corporation for 30 years prior to his retirement.
Besides his wife, Bill is survived by his children, William Fultz and his wife Susan of Billerica, Karen Fultz of Wilmington, Diane Deloge of Lowell, Cathy Musto and her husband Al of Northborough and Michael Fultz and his wife Stacey of Billerica; his brother, Paul Fultz and his wife Ann of Marlborough and is also survived by his 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his two brothers and six sisters.
Bill enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing, horse racing and had a love for boats as he owned several throughout the years. He always put family first and much of his retirement was spent with his family at his lake house in Waterboro, Maine.
Bill will be remembered as a kind, generous man with dignity. He will be eternally remembered and respected by countless family, friends and colleagues. As our Dad often requested; do not say “goodbye”, say “see you later”. Dad, we will see you later and will miss you dearly.
A graveside service will be held Friday, Jan. 6 at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 12:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Bill’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org
