Obituary for William J. Frazier
William J. Frazier – Age 90, husband of the late Margaret E. (Casserly) Frazier died unexpectedly Thursday at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington.
He was born in Hyannis, July 20, 1932, a son of the late George P. and Julia C. (Ritchie) Frazier and was raised in Mission Hill and moved to Billerica in 1966. Bill proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was employed as a Food Broker for Stouffers Frozen Foods for over 30 years prior to his retirement. For many years Bill was involved with Billerica Pop Warner and Billerica Youth Hockey. He was a communicant of St. Irene Parish in Carlisle and a member of the America Legion in Mission Hill and the Billerica Elks.
Bill enjoyed his travels all over the world with his beloved wife Margaret of sixty years. Their love for each other set forth the utmost exemplar of what devotion and commitment truly should be. Bill was known as Willie to his grandchildren who he treasured dearly and close family friends. Everyone appreciated his stories of Mission Hill days. He loved to entertain and always ended the evening with singing a song. Willie leaves behind many nieces and nephews who he adored immensely.
Bill is survived by his children, Kristin Frazier and her fiancé Dan Myers of Billerica and Paul Frazier and his wife Jody of Groton and was the father of the late Mark and Keith Frazier.
His grandchildren, Isabelle and Fynn Frazier and Ian and Aidan Gibbons.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4-7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Irene Parish, 181 East St., Carlisle at 10 a.m. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
