Obituary for William H. Meskill
William H. “Bill” Meskill, age 73, beloved husband of Marianne L. (Lembo) Meskill died Friday, April 29 at Lowell General Hospital.
He was born in Montclair, NJ June 26, 1948 a son of the late Elizabeth (Edwards) Meskill and was raised by his mother and her brother the late Arthur Edwards who was a father figure to him and has been a Billerica resident for the past 38 years.
Bill obtained his Bachelor’s degree at St. Michael’s College in Vermont and his Master’s degree at Montclair State College and proudly served in the US Air Force retiring at the rank of Major.
He was currently employed as with Oasis Systems where he was a Senior Systems Cybersecurity Engineer supporting the US Air Force and in his spare time he was a Colonel in the Civil Air Patrol where he served as a longtime Vice Wing Commander as well as Wing Commander for four years.
Bill was a loving husband and devoted father and had many interests including military history, classic cars and classic rock music having been a disc jockey both in college and with the Armed Forces Radio and Television Service
Besides his wife he is survived by his son Sean Meskill of Billerica as well as many cousins and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 5 Green St., Nashua, NH Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. Followed by a celebration of his life at the Lafayette Club, 34 High St. Nashua, NH Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
