Obituary for Wesley D. Jewett
BILLERICA - Wesley D. Jewett Sr., age 70, husband of Pauline (Fagerberg) Jewett, died Monday, February 22nd, 2010 at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington.
He was born in Middlebury, VT, on April 14, 1939 to the late Rufus S. and Clara A. (Tuttle) Jewett. He lived in Hyde Park with his bride before moving his new family to Billerica in 1966.
A graduate of Wentworth Institute, Mr. Jewett was last employed as a machinist at Megapulse in Billerica. A vintage car enthusiast, Wes was a proud member of the Colonial Corvair Club, the Bay State Corvair Club, and the Bug Club.
In addition to his beloved wife Polly, he is survived by one son, Wesley D. Jewett Jr. and his wife Jan of Leominster; two daughters, Linda Elliott and her husband John of Burlington, and Nancy Jewett of Lee; his brother David Jewett of NC and his grandson Matthew Elliott. JEWETT - For all who knew and loved him, a Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 1-4 pm followed by a Celebration of his Life from 4-8 pm at the Country Club of Billerica, 51 Baldwin Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org) in honor of his mother Clara.
