Wayne L. Morrison, 61 of Groton, MA passed away at Lowell General Hospital on 7/10/2026 after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Born on July 26, 1964, in Winthrop, he was the beloved son of Dorothy Morrison -Mullen and the late John Morrison. He was also predeceased by his stepfather, Thomas Mullen.
He lived in Billerica for most of his life prior to moving to Groton. He was a 1983 graduate of Billerica Memorial High School.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Christine and his stepdaughter,
Dannielle Collagan and her husband Drew of Gardner. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his siblings: Lynne Conway and her husband Tom, John Morrison and his wife Linda, Tricia Hilliker and her husband Brad all of Billerica. He is also survived by his niece and nephews, and great niece and great nephews.
Wayne was loved by all who knew him. He was very quick to offer help to anyone who needed it. He was blessed to have had many friends that helped him out through his illness. He had his own unique sense of fashion and had many colorful expressions - not that we always knew what he was saying.
His entire career was spent in the construction field. He had his own carpentry business,
W.M. Construction, and for many years he worked for J. Delaney Construction and Hicks Brothers of Westford.
Wayne had a great love for animals. His dog, Benny, was his faithful companion. When he talked about Benny you would swear he was talking about a human being.

Per Wayne's wishes, his service will be private. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
