Obituary for Walter T. 'Tom' Curry
BILLERICA – Walter T. “Tom” Curry, age 83, husband of the late Phyllis Ann (Cossette) Curry, died Wednesday at the Fairhaven Health Care Center in Lowell. He was born in Medfield, November 10, 1930, a son of the Ronald and Margaret Curry and lived in Melrose before moving to Burlington for 43 years and most recently Billerica. Mr. Curry was a graduate of Mass Maritime Academy and served in the US Navy during the Korean War. After the Navy he began a long Career with US Lines retiring as a Chief Engineer. He is survived by one daughter, Michele (Curry) Annino of Billerica; two brothers, Robert Curry and his wife Murielle of Medfield and Edward Durry and his wife Cathy of Ridge, NY; two sisters, Lorraine Lipsett of Millis and Jacqueline Millis of Franklin as well as two grandchildren, Timothy P. and Alison L. Annino. He was the father of the late Timothy K. Curry and brother of the late Ronald J. Curry and Mary A. Yazback. CURRY – Of Billerica, formerly of Medfield and Burlington, Walter T. “Tom” Curry. Visiting hours will be held Friday in the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 5 – 8 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held Saturday at the Vine Lake Cemetery, 625 Main St., Medfield, MA at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
