Obituary for Walter T. Lane
WALTER T. LANE - Age 75, husband of the late Mary M. (Leary) Lane died Tuesday at the Sawtelle Hospice House in Reading.
He was born in Somerville, May 26, 1934, the son of the late Edward J. and Bridgett (Murphy) Lane and lived in Somerville for many years before moving to Burlington in 1966. Mr. Lane served in the Army and was a communicant of St. Margaret's Church in Burlington.
He was employed as a Highway Repair Foreman for the Massachusetts Department of Public Works for over 20 years prior to his retirement.
Mr. Lane is survived by his sons, Shawn Lane of Woburn and Daniel Lane of Burlington and his sister, Teresa Miller of Plymouth.
