Obituary for Walter J. Ingersoll
Walter J. Ingersoll, age 77, died Wednesday at Saints Medical Center in Lowell with his daughter by his side. He was born in Boston, July 30, 1934 a son of the late Arthur and Elsie (Blackberg) Ingersoll and lived in Billerica for most of his life. Mr. Ingersoll served in the US Air Force during the Korean War and was a carpenter for T Works in Lowell for many years. He was a longtime member of the VFW Solomon Post in Billerica and an avid bowler and pool player. He is survived by three daughters, Sandra Leith and her husband Dennis, Linda Marquis and her husband Paul and Debbie Brewin all of Nashua; one son, Joseph Ingersoll of NV and two grandchildren, Richard and Jacyln Marquis. He was also the brother of the late Arthur Ingersoll. INGERSOLL – Of Billerica, June 13, Walter J. Ingersoll. A Graveside Service will be held Saturday at the Beachbrook Cemetery, 401 Essex Ave., Gloucester at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
