Obituary for Virginia R. Maguire
BILLERICA – Virginia R. (Kilmartin) Maguire, age 84, wife of the late Leo Maguire who she married June 10, 1950 and was married to for 48 years prior to his death in 1998, died April 4, at Palm Manor Nursing Home in Chelmsford. She was born in Billerica, October 5, 1928 a daughter of the late John F. and Dorothy J. (Butler) Kilmartin and was a lifelong Billerica resident. Mrs. Maguire was a graduate of the Howe High School class of 1946, was the class secretary and a class athlete. She worked for the Billerica School Administration, enjoyed volunteering for the Billerica Historical Society, traveling, art, gardening, and outing with family and friends. Her family would like to thank the staff at Palm Manor Nursing Home in Chelmsford for their care of Ginny. She is survived by one sister, Dorothy Matheson and her husband Earl of VA as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was the sister of the late Pauline Higgins Hayes, Jean Coppinger, Anne Glasheen and Jack and Fred Kilmartin. MAGUIRE – Of Billerica, April 4, Virginia R. (Kilmartin) Maguire.
