Obituary for Vincent 'Jimmy' Ruggiero
Vincent "Jimmy" Ruggiero - Age 84, husband of the late Anna (Rourke) Ruggiero died unexpectedly Saturday at his home.
He was born in E. Boston, October 14, 1925, the son of the late Augustino and Margaret (Grasso) Ruggiero and lived in E. Boston and Cambridge before moving to Billerica 42 years ago.
Mr. Ruggiero was employed as a Salesman for the former George H. Wahn Co. in Brighton for 50 years prior to his retirement. He as also employed in the Deli department at the former Purity Supreme in N. Billerica. Mr. Ruggiero enjoyed visiting Fox Woods and playing Bingo at the Billerica Senior Center.
He is survived by his daughter, Maria Ruggiero of Billerica and her companion, Mark Brighi and his children, Lara and Christian Brighi; his brothers, Angelo Ruggiero and Augustino Ruggiero and his wife Jane of Malden, Frank Ruggiero and his wife Joan of Winthrop and Anthony Ruggiero and his wife Carmela of Revere and his sister, Theresa Cocozza of E. Boston. Mr. Ruggiero is also survived by his beloved pets.
RUGGIERO - Of Billerica, July 10, Vincent "Jimmy" Ruggiero. A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday at St. Theresa Church, One Grace Ave., Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
