Obituary for Vincent J. Smith
Vincent J. Smith, Age 77, beloved husband of Karen (Scyzgial) Smith died Saturday, January 1st at their home surrounded by his family.
He was born in Arlington, September 18, 1944, a son of the late Francis C. and Isolena (Scipione) Smith and lived in Lexington before moving to Billerica in 1974. Vincent proudly served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War.
He was employed in the construction industry having worked for Local #429.
Besides his wife, Vincent is survived by his daughter, Eva Dos Santos and her husband Jose of Billerica; his sisters, Florence MacGilvray of Chelmsford and Joanne Stares of Auburn, ME; his grandchild, Karina Dos Santos and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Francis and Alvin Smith.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, Jan. 10 at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church, 465 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Face masks will be required.
