Obituary for Veronica L. Keating
Veronica L. Keating – Age 83, wife of the late Richard J. Keating died Monday at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington. She was born in Somerville, April 20, 1928, the daughter of the late Giovanni and Celeste (Nicoli) Boiardi and lived in Somerville before moving to Billerica in 1955. Mrs. Keating worked in the jewelry department at Jordan March, Macy’s and the Goldsmith at the Burlington Mall before her retirement. Mrs. Keating is survived by her daughters, Leah Marquis and her husband Larry of Merrimack, NH and Rachel Tarr and her husband Brian of Nashua, NH; her sons, John Keating and his wife Celeste of Carlisle and Richard Keating Jr. of Stafford Springs, CT; her brother, Benito Boiardi of RI; her sisters, Nora Shando of Dennis and Mary Therriault of RI; also survived by her grandchildren, Stephanie Marquis and Robert Biagioni and her traveling companion and close friend Bruno Zulpo of San Jose, CA. KEATING – Of Billerica, April 9, Veronica (Boiardi) Keating, Funeral Thursday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9:30 a.m. A chapel service will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery, 96 Riverneck Rd., E. Chelmsford at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
