Obituary for Thomas W. Woods Jr.
Thomas W. Woods Jr. - Age 79, died Tuesday at Wingate At Andover.
He was born in Boston, Jan. 4, 1932, the son of the late Thomas W. Woods and Dorothy (Gray) Woods and lived in Brighton, Concord and Waltham before moving to Billerica four years ago. Mr. Woods served in the Navy during the Korean War.
He was employed for Verizon for 30 years prior to his retirement.
He is survived by his son, Thomas Woods III of Billerica; his daughters, Suzanne Courtney, Frances Reynolds and Mary Woods and their mother, Ellen Woods of Northborough; his brothers, Paul Woods of FL, Kenneth Woods of Marstons Mills and Bill Woods of Ogunquit, ME and his sisters, Jane Wharton of Waterville Valley, NH and Ann Bouley of Billerica. Mr. Woods is also survived by his 10 grandchildren.

Woods Jr. Funeral Friday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. A graveside service will be held at the Fox Hill Cemetery, Andover Rd., Billerica at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation, One Bullfinch Place, Boston, MA 02114.
