Obituary for Thomas S. Crear
LOWELL – Thomas S. Crear, age 61, husband of the late Eileen Ann (Marshall) Crear died unexpectedly Wednesday at his home.
He was born in Winthrop, September 4, 1957 a son of the late Samuel T. and Dorothy M. Miller Crear and lived in Billerica before moving to Lowell over 40 years ago.
Mr. Crear was the Director of Engineering for Kindred Healthcare’s Greenbriar facility located in Nashua and was the past President of Northern Middlesex Youth Hockey. Tom was also the former Director of Facilities at North Shore Regional Vocational Technical High School in Middleton. He loved working with his hands, was a fan of the Patriots, Bruins, hot sauce and classic cars.
He is survived by two sons, Aaron Crear and fiancée Kelly Pang of Lowell and Andy Crear and his wife Lisa of Pepperell; three sisters, Dorothy Verdon of Merrimack, NH, Denise Grovo of FL and Debbie Breton of AZ as well as two grandsons, Rion and Egan Crear.
CREAR – Of Lowell, formerly of Billerica, Sept. 19. Thomas S. Crear. A Graveside Service will be held Saturday at the Tewksbury Cemetery, 172 East St. Tewksbury at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Lowell General Hospital, Teamwalk for Cancer, 295 Varnum Ave. Lowell MA 01854.
