Thomas F. McNamara – Age 78, beloved husband of Nancy (Kellogg) McNamara died unexpectedly Wednesday, January 28 at their home.
He was born in Lowell, November 4, 1947, a son of the late Thomas and Marion (Finn) McNamara and was raised in Wilmington and moved to Billerica in 1993. He proudly served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
Tom’s last job was as a Delivery Driver working with his daughter at Pizza Mia Hanscom. He was a member of the Billerica Moose Lodge.
Besides his wife, Tom is survived by his daughter, Tina Nickerson of Hudson, NH; his son, Thomas McNamara Jr. of Pelham, NH; his stepchildren, Debbie True of Wilmington, Bill True of Chelmsford and Cindy True of Sandisfield; his brothers, William McNamara of S. Yarmouth and Larry McNamara of Newport, NH; his sister, Marie Santos of Dracut and his eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held, Saturday, February 7 at the Billerica Moose Lodge, 104 Boston Rd., N. Billerica from 12 – 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org
