Obituary for Thomas F. Callery
Thomas F. Callery – Age 85, beloved husband of Janet (King) Callery to whom he was married to for 54 years, died Thursday at the Lowell General Hospital. He was born in Lowell, January 4, 1927, the son of the late Thomas and Anna (Whelan) Callery and lived in Billerica for 32 years before moving to Chelmsford 11 years ago. Mr. Callery served in the Army in the Philippines during WW II. He was employed as a Stone Mason for the Chelmsford Construction Company and later worked in the Maintenance Department for the Billerica School Department. Mr. Callery also held a Massachusetts Real Estate Brokers license. Besides his wife, Mr. Callery is survived by his son, Thomas “Michael” Callery and his wife Lauren of Pelham, NH, Daniel Callery and his wife Robin of Dracut, Timothy Callery and his wife Kathleen of Westford, Paul Callery and his wife Darlene of Nashua, NH and Christopher Callery and his wife Renee of Hudson, NH; his daughters, Susan Rossini and her husband Peter of Billerica and Katherine Peters and her husband Theodore of Burlington; his sister, Rita Dubinski of Silver Spring, MD. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, Jennifer, Juliann, Colby, Riley, Paul, Larissa, Hayden, Grace, Travers and Ava Callery, William Cole, Peter and Anna Rossini and Thomas and Benjamin Peters and 3 great grandchildren, William Cole Jr. and Steven and Kayla Lacasse. Mr. Callery was the brother of the late Edward, Francis and Joseph Callery and Magdalene Konnerup, Alice Peters, Virginia Summers and Margaret Embree. CALLERY – Of Chelmsford, formerly of Billerica, April 5, Thomas F. Callery, A Funeral Mass will be held Monday at St. Irene’s Church, 181 East St., Carlisle at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery, E. Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the MSPCA at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844 or to the National Kidney Foundation Serving New England, 85 Astor Ave. Suite 2, Norwood, MA 02062
