Thomas D. McGregor, Jr. – age 89, beloved husband of the late Lavonna “Bonnie” McGregor, passed away on Friday, June 5th at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington surrounded by family.
Born in Cambridge on December 16, 1936, Thomas was a son of the late Thomas D. McGregor, Sr., and Dorothy (O'Leary) McGregor.
Thomas married Bonnie in March of 1958 in New Boston, Ohio. They later lived in South Boston, Lexington, and Carlisle, before moving to Billerica in 1996.
In addition to his wife and parents, Thomas was predeceased by his siblings, Grace Gill, Agnes Ardagna, Helen Hankus, Shirley Conroy, and Arthur McGregor.
Thomas is survived by his children, Teresa M. Lampron and Thomas D. McGregor, III of Billerica, his siblings, Dorothy Dauer and William McGregor of Ohio, his grandchildren, Lauren and Thomas Lampron, and his great grandchildren, Maddie, Riley, and Vaida Lampron.
At the request of Thomas’ family, funeral arrangements will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the charity of your choice.
