Thomas P. Dolan Sr., Age 85, died Monday at the High Pointe House in Haverhill with his family at his side.
He was born in Woburn, May 11, 1937, a son of the late Patrick and Margery (Doherty) Dolan and was raised in Medford and moved to Billerica in 1965. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force.
Tom was a Licensed Pharmacist and was the Founder and former Co-owner of Towne Plaza Drugs in Billerica. He was a founding member and past President of the Billerica Irish American Club, a member of the Billerica Elks for over 50 years, the Billerica Lions Club and a former board member of the Billerica Hockey Association.
Tom is survived by his children, Peggy Nangle and her husband David of Wakefield and Patty Nagle and her husband Roy of Brookline, NH, Tom Dolan and his wife Denise of Dracut, Mike Dolan and his wife Michelle of Hudson, NH and Danny Dolan and his wife Jodie of Nashua, NH and their mother, Margaret (McGonagle) Dolan of Tewksbury, his brother, James Dolan of Pelham, NH; his sisters, Margaret Patch of Wakefield and Kathleen Brien of Billerica and is also survived by his 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was the grandfather of the late Sarah Dolan.
Visiting hours will be held Friday at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4-7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the High Pointe House, www.homehealthfoundation.org Burial with military honors will take place at the Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica
