Obituary for Theresa Marie Buckley
Theresa Marie Buckley, age 40 of Dorchester, formerly of Billerica died unexpectedly Thursday July 16th in Boston.
She was born in Colorado Spring, CO. on April 17, 1980 a beloved daughter of James H. and Noreen M. (Farrell) Buckley of Billerica.
Theresa was currently employed at Greenhills Bakery and a 1998 graduate from Billerica Memorial High School and also attended UMASS Boston
Besides her parents she is survived by two sisters, Christine Sykes and her husband Bryan of Derry, NH and Sue Buckley and her fiancée Jimmy Saunders of Woburn; Godparents, Michael Farrell, Bernie Farrell and Jeannie Kennedy. She was honored and proud to be the Aunt of Turner Sykes and the Godmother of Aaron Devescovi and RJ Carbone. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. She was the granddaughter of the late Edward and Bernice Farrell
Theresa’s passions throughout the years included fishing, softball, attending concerts and playing her infamous practical jokes. To know her, was to love her. Theresa will be remembered by her ability to light up any room with her infectious laugh, sense of humor and most importantly kind heart.
Visiting hours will be held at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, Wednesday, July 22, from 5 – 7 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held Thursday July 23, at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Face coverings and social distancing per current Massachusetts guidelines are required at both venues.
