Obituary for Theresa G. Maynard
BILLERICA – Theresa G. (Gillis) Maynard, age 84, wife of the late Richard A. Maynard Sr., died Monday at her home. She was born in Boston, December 19, 1928 a daughter of the late William A. and Mary (Shea) Gillis and lived in East Boston and Wilmington prior to moving to Billerica 49 years ago. Mrs. Maynard was a machine operator for the former Sweetheart Plastics in Wilmington for many years. She is survived by her children, Richard Maynard Jr. of Everett, Helen Gladys Elder of Billerica, Mary Maynard of Billerica, Janice Roy of Londonderry, NH, Clyde Maynard of W. Hartford, CT, John Maynard of New Britain, CT, Susan Maynard of Woburn, Lucas Maynard of Billerica and Marlene Bickford of Billerica, as well as 23 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Denise Maynard and grandmother of the late Peter Maynard, Richard Maynard III and William Elder and great grandmother of the late A.J. Roy. Funeral Friday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8:45 a.m. A Funeral Mass will he held in St. Dorothy Church, Wilmington at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4 – 7 p.m. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
