Theresa D. (Moisio) Adler, age 90, beloved wife of the late Robert J. Adler died Thursday July 23, 2026 at her home after a period of declining health with her family by her side.
She was born in Endicott, NY, December 4, 1935, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Rose (Capriolio) Moisio. Raised their family in Billerica for 32 years before moving to Raleigh, NC for a period of 30 years and then back to Billerica in 2025.
She graduated from Union Endicott high school, class of 1953. Attended Rochester Institute of Technology, School of Business, graduating in 1957 and received her Master of Science degree in Education from SUNY Cortland in 1961. She was an elementary school teacher until 1980.
She was included in the 1971 awards volume “Outstanding Young Women of America” for contributions to her community, profession and country. She was always involved in both her children’s and grandchildren’s lives being a Campfire Girl and Boy Scout leader, as well as chaperoning and participating in their activities.
She is survived by her daughter Karen Kunz and her husband Jim from Wake Forest, NC, son Steven Adler and his wife Sheri from Billerica, MA, granddaughter Kristin (Kunz) Reynolds, her husband Eric from Montpelier, VA and their two daughters, granddaughter Alexandra (Adler) Moisan and her husband Jacob from Norwell, MA and their son, granddaughter Lindsey (Kunz) McCrary and her husband Matt from Chicago, IL and their son, grandson Michael Adler from Jamaica Plain, MA, grandson Justin Kunz and his wife Madeline from Raleigh, NC and grandson Branden Kunz of Wilmington, NC.
Services will be held privately at a future time.
