Obituary for Teresa M. "Mona" Dunne
BILLERICA – Teresa M. "Mona" (Lambe) Dunne, age 83, beloved wife of the late Paul Dunne died Thursday at the Palm Center in Chelmsford surrounded by her family.
She was born in Dublin Ireland, October 17, 1932, a daughter of the late Edward and Kathleen (Saunders) Lambe and lived in Ireland and Somerville before moving to Billerica 47 years ago.
Mrs. Dunne was employed as a bookkeeper while in Ireland and at the Jewelry Department of Kmart in Billerica after moving here, was a 47 year parishioner of St. Mary’s Parish in Billerica, a member of the Irish American Club and the Compassionate Friends.
She is survived by two sons, Anthony Dunne and his wife Laurie of Berwick, ME and Sean Dunne and his wife Heather of Center Barnstead, NH; two daughters, Sheila Dunne Powell and her partner Daniel Powell of Andover and Kathleen Brunetto and her husband David of Billerica; one sister, Nora LeBreton and her husband Martin of Ireland as well as 16 grandchildren and her great-grandchild Cameron. She was the mother of the late Eamon, Patrick, Delores and Deidre Dunne, grandmother of the late Brian Powell and sister of the late Patrick Lambe.

Funeral Wednesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Mary’s Church, Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 4 – 7 p.m. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
